Community

Community first, always.

Living in the Gladstone region, I’ve learned that community is at the heart of everything. It’s about looking out for one another and treating your neighbours as if they are family. There is always time for a cuppa, pikelets or scones with jam and cream, and a good chat. Kindness never goes out of fashion.

My involvement with service to my community in Gladstone has been shaped by my life experiences and opportunities. Doing just one thing has never been my style.

“I play multiple roles for the Gladstone community, as a MOTHER, BUSINESSWOMAN, COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER and ADVOCATE.”

When I think about community, I’m inspired by the men, women, and families who dedicate their lives to making our town and region thrive. They make these places great to live, work, play, and invest in and I’m proud to play my part in contributing to the cause.
